Remembering Dr. Jianwei "Kenny" Zhang

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Jianwei "Kenny" Zhang, Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of Rendr, on June 5.

Dr. Zhang was a visionary leader, a highly respected primary care physician, and a tireless advocate for the health and well-being of the Chinese community. For more than three decades, he dedicated his life to caring for patients and advancing access to high-quality healthcare. His leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to service were instrumental in the founding and growth of Rendr, helping build what is today the largest medical group dedicated to serving the Chinese community in New York City.

Dr. Zhang's contributions to healthcare and the communities he served are immeasurable. He touched countless lives through his clinical care, mentorship, and leadership, and his legacy will continue to inspire our physicians, staff, and future generations.

His passing is a tremendous loss to our organization, our patients, and all who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside him. We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and patients during this difficult time.
